To amplify Coca-Cola’s sponsorship of the 2014 Winter Olympics, the campaign invited My Coke Rewards users to enter a sweepstakes to meet one of four athletes, explore athlete bios, or redeem points for Olympic merchandise. During the games, a Twitter campaign ran in parallel: users could earn bonus points by tweeting with one of three joyful emojis — and have that emoji image display with their tweet.
Outcome: Delivered an engaging, emotion-driven digital activation that reinforced brand connection with fans during a high-visibility global event.
